The form letter
The form letter is a template from which all the messages are generated. Typically it contains a number of variables that have different values for each person on your mailing list.
The green words in this letter are two of a collection of standard variables that eMerge retrieves from the message header or generates internally, including the name of each recipient broken down into its component parts—first name, last name, and so on.
