Purchasing a registration number

When you purchase PowerTicker online, you receive a registration number by e-mail and are automatically registered on our database. When you purchase a packaged version of PowerTicker, the registration number is included in the box, but you must return your registration card to Galleon Software in order to be registered on our database.

Registered customers are entitled to free technical support and free upgrades to the current version of PowerTicker. We will also inform you of new versions of the application as they are released and other special offers from Galleon Software.

Entering your registration number

When you first install PowerTicker, it is configured to run in demonstration mode until you enter a valid registration number. An unregistered copy of PowerTicker runs for fifteen minutes before it quits, but otherwise lets you evaluate all of PowerTicker's features before you decide to purchase a registration number.

Macintosh version

1	Disable any virus protection on your Macintosh.
2	Double-click on the PowerTicker icon to start the application.
3	From the Apple menu, choose Register PowerTicker.
	The Registration dialog appears.
4	Enter your name and a valid registration number.
5	Click Register.
	PowerTicker pauses a moment while it verifies your registration number, and then thanks you for registering.
6	Click Close.
7	Re-enable your virus protection.

Windows version

1	Double-click on the PowerTicker icon to start the application.
2	From the Help menu, choose Register PowerTicker.
	The Registration dialog appears.
3	Enter your name and a valid registration number.
4	Click Register.
	PowerTicker pauses a moment while it verifies your registration number, and then thanks you for registering.
5	Click Close.
