eMerge 1.6 from Galleon Software

eMerge 1.6 from Galleon Software
July 1997 to present (three editions)

eMerge is a bulk e-mail merge application developed by Galleon Software. This reviewer’s guide is part of the media kit I developed to hand out at trade shows, to answer press inquiries, and to solicit product reviews.

eMerge press releases
March 1997 to present

I typically include the latest of these press releases with the eMerge media kit mentioned above. Over the years, I have built an extensive e-mail press list and use eMerge to distribute each release.

SoftArc Offline

SoftArc Offline
September 1996

SoftArc Offline was a semi-regular newsletter, mailed to the press and our customers to advise them of new product releases and ongoing developments.

SoftArc’s marketing department wrote most of the copy in this edition; I wrote the captions and the headlines. I was also responsible for the editing, the layout, the illustration, and the printing.

SoftArc wishes you a Merry Christmas

SoftArc Christmas card
December 1994 and 1995

SoftArc had a tradition of sending a Christmas card to each of their customers. Before I arrived, they would choose their card from the catalogue print brokers shop around every fall, but I lobbied for custom designs and was ultimately responsible for commissioning the artwork, designing the card, and managing the printing. The 1995 card, shown here, was illustrated by Brian Poehlman.
